We had a busy pre-Christmas decorating the house and boat
in Wilmington, buying presents, wrapping said presents, and preparing
for our trip to visit the kids for Christmas. We were planning on leave
day after tomorrow but a really big snow storm is due to cover the
Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern states with 18 inches of snow in about 8
hours. So we packed the car, loaded Gina and Sammy into the car and
headed North. A little snow in north Carolina, a lot of snow in
Richmond, but we outran it before we arrived in Vienna. The next
morning we had 20 inches. It was beautiful!

We headed for Richmond on Tuesday
to visit the Todd Jr. family. We got lots of goodies, a great meal, and
a sound sleep. The girls (Emily and Lauren) we glad to see us and
insisted on opening a present before we left the next day. They are
great kids! We headed back to Vienna to celebrate Christmas with the
younger Todd's and leave Gina there for the months that we would be
cruising. We also saw Lilli and Collin in their annual 'live Nativity
scene' where Collin was a Wise Man and Lilli was an angel. Great times!
