I try and visit my brother, Richard,
once a year in the town of Hull, Quebec. I decided to fly there from Washington Dulles as I was beat from driving and sailing. The first try was aborted due to a cancelled flight. The second try was successful but painful. I stayed in the usual Hotel, which was a 20 minute walk to Richard and Alison's house. Richard was a little under the weather the day Alison was scheduled to train on her horse, Miss Wu. So I volunteered to go to the stables with her. I am not a horse person, but I did enjoy the atmosphere and the beauty of the horses and their riders. Richard's younger son, Clemont, came to visit on my last day there. The wildfires of Northern Quebec produced a thick 'smog' over Hull and Ottawa on my departure date. It was nasty but the flight departed on time.
