After Hunting Island, we headed for Crooked River State
Park, near St. Mary's. GA. This is new territory for all of us. We
never even sailed here. We stopped by St. Mary's to check out the
town. It was a little smaller than we thought but had two sets of
docks. Butch and Bob checked out the docks. For some strange reason
they had a fascination for an empty telephone booth. Go figure

Levi seemed to like this place also.
He got lots of good sniffs and lots of nap time. Poor Gina was to
'hyper' and barked at everything. She had to spend some time-out time
in the RV. Of course, Sammy was happy wherever she was. She especially
likes Jule III and the RV. We took the kids for walks several times a
day. It is a very doggy friendly place. However, the bugs were out (a
week later, Bob would find a tick on his body).

It was great traveling with Butch and Vicki. This is the
third land voyage we have shared together. It is a shame that this one
had to be so short. Unfortunately, we have to head back to Northern Virginia for Ann's next opration (stay tuned). They will be heading South as far as the
Everglades, then to Disney World, then slowly back up to Maryland.
Legend is on the hard so they will be staying at the Herrington Inn like
'la-de-da' people. Not bad.
