Anchor up at 0650 on the 9th. It was cold so we did a lot
of autopilot-ing under Jule's enclosure. Six hours later we were
entering Rockhold Creek. Bob made a perfect entry into the slip. But
Ann gently said that it was the wrong slip. She mentioned that we were
in F8 and said, with a smirk, that "our slip is F6, isn't it?". Of
course there was a crowd ready to help. A couple of 180s later, we were
nicely tucked in F6. No bumps, no scratches.
We were preparing to haul the dingy on deck, when something associated
with the port jib halyard seized. We would have to wait until our
return as the rigger's schedule was full.
We ordered a new propane tank and had it filled at a local hardware
store. Big mistake! It started venting liquid propane after we drove
the one mile back to our boat.. caused by untrained personnel and the
lack of a scale. Arundel Propane check it out and fixed the overfill.
It was over 100% filled.
