First thing we have to do is pump up the dinghy. Mattie
K. says she is going to help. We don't think so. Still she didn't put
a hole in the pump. Our mooring mates on SV First Love (Gil and
Sharlene) very nice and helpful. We didn't see too much of them as they
went home for Thanksgiving. The mooring field is not as full as we
remember from previous years. Not sure why.

Thanksgiving (USA version)!!
The CLOD's (Cruisers Living on Dirt) hosted the Cruiser's Thanksgiving
again this year. All us cruisers had to do was bring a side dish and our
beverage. We had over 150 people participating. It was great. Best
one ever.

We even had an after dinner concert with head-liners from
SV Salty Paws (Bentley and Jim) and MV Dyad (Dave and Kathi) with
support from some local folks. We would also see them in other venues
in Vero throughout our stay.

What is this!! Yep, Ann is back in the hospital.
Her old pancreas/spleen 'sew up' herniated; probably helping Bob with
too many jerry jugs. First the ER, then a surgeon (Dr. Paul), then
outpatient surgery, then post op consultation. Dr. Paul said she was
good to go. Very special thanks to Tom Butz (SV Minden) for
chauffeuring us everywhere and sitting in the waiting rooms. Also, we
thank Johnathon and Meriluce (SV Majestic 7) for sitting with Bob
throughout the operation.

Other special people on our visit to Vero include Sue and
Al of SV Gelato who worried about Miss Ann before, during, and after
the medical procedure. They came by and checked on us every day. Nice
people. We wish them luck on their trip to Florida's West coast.
